Adding a Custom Formula Field
Project: Create a simulation for creating a custom field in Salesforce in order to run a cross-reference formula.
Tools and tasks: I wrote the content based on subject-matter expert interviews and document reviews; created the content using Articulate Storyline 360 and TechSmith Snagit; and used Articulate Review for feedback.

Automation Basics
Project: Create an introductory course for Salesforce using Articulate Rise covering workflow rules and Process Builder. This was one of several mostly technical courses in a learning path.

Interactive scenario for tool that was developed in-house
Project: The original plan was to use an eLearning tool as a way to "house" video demonstrations. We took it up a notch by adding a scenario using characters with a comic-book style interface. I've also added in the use of variables to personalize the experience for the learner and custom navigation to make it more engaging.
Tools and tasks: I wrote the script and created the graphics and animations using Articulate Storyline 2, PowerPoint and Photoshop for authoring; Audacity for audio recording and editing; Notepad++ for HTML editing; and a web server to host the videos.
Feedback: "These scenarios will help our tool evangelists explain why their partners should use this tool (elevator pitch) rather than just providing a technical description of the tool — its creates a story with a problem and a solution for this tool. The web-based training is a good way to market and create awareness of this tool for our technical audience....We love the work your team did on the COT WBT and in fact want to establish priority for additional WBTs that cover our top focus areas for partners." -- Chris S., Web Producer, World-Wide Marketing and Business Development -- Global Channels

Sending a Document for Signatures
Project: Create several eLearning courses to teach customers, partners, and internal end users how to work with our our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) product. This course covers the definition of a "wet" signature vs. an eSignature as well as how to send a document for signature. The audiences are non-technical end users as well as administrators.
Tools and tasks: I wrote and narrated the script; created the content and animations using Articulate Storyline 360 and TechSmith Snagit; and used Articulate Review for feedback.

Introduction to the B3000N Badge
Project: Create eLearning modules to teach learners how to use the Badge product. The original course was 7 modules, but I reduced it to 2 based on learner feedback.
Tools and tasks: I wrote and narrated the script; created the content and animations using Articulate Storyline 360, PowerPoint, and Photoshop for authoring; used Audacity for audio recording and editing; used Notepad++ for HTML editing; and used a web server and LMS to host the videos.
Feedback: "I know the CBT courses are extremely valuable. Without them I would not have been able to train 7000 people in 2 months. They work! If they didn't, we'd have a lot of very unhappy customers out there!" -- Shan D., Clinical Informaticist

Introduction to the Smartbadge
Project: Create 508-compliant eLearning modules to teach customer, partner, and internal end users how to use our new Smartbadge product. Use the text-to-speech feature of Articulate Storyline 360 to reduce development time.
Tools and tasks: I wrote the script; created the content and animations using Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Photoshop, and TechSmith Snagit; used Articulate Review for feedback; used Notepad++ for HTML editing and TechSmith Camtasia for video editing; and used our LMS to host the modules.

Getting Started with the Vocera Collaboration Suite
Project: Create eLearning modules to teach learners how to use our mobile app. This course involved branching as not all users had the same devices; some had personal devices, some shared devices provided by the customer, and devices could be iOS or Android. The branching required creating a custom menu.
Tools and tasks: I wrote the script and created the content and and animations using Articulate Storyline 360, PowerPoint, and Photoshop for authoring; performed the voice over narration; used Audacity for audio recording and editing; used Notepad++ for HTML editing; and used web server to host the videos.
Feedback: "I do want to applaud you on how you handled the speech-text/cloud discussion. That was a tricky one and the graphics really enhance the subject matter. Good job!." -- Nancy S., Clinical Account Manager
